Shipping Policy — The Collective

Welcome to The Collective (the-collective.shop).
We create and sell made-to-order, print-on-demand products in collaboration with our trusted production partner, Printify.

This Shipping Policy explains how and when your orders are produced, shipped, and delivered, as well as your rights under applicable laws.


1. Order Processing

All products are custom-made after your order is placed.
Production time typically takes 2–7 business days depending on the product and the print provider’s location.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information (when available).


2. Shipping Times & Delivery Estimates

Shipping times vary depending on your delivery address and the production location.
Below are average estimates after production:

Canada 10–20 business days
Australia & New Zealand 10–20 business days
Rest of the World 10–30 business days

These timeframes are estimates only. Delivery times can vary due to carrier delays, customs processing, or other factors beyond our control.


3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, order size, and chosen shipping method.
From time to time, The Collective may offer free or discounted shipping promotions, which will be clearly stated on the website or during checkout.


4. Split Shipments

Because we work with multiple print partners, your order may be shipped in separate packages if it contains multiple items.
You will receive separate tracking details (where available) for each shipment.


5. Customs, Duties & Taxes

International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by your country’s customs authority.
These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the customer’s responsibility.

We are not able to predict or control these fees.
If you refuse a shipment due to customs fees, we cannot offer a refund.


6. Address Accuracy

Please make sure all shipping details are entered correctly during checkout.
The Collective is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

If you realize your address is incorrect, contact us immediately at support@the-collective.shop.
If your order has not yet entered production, we’ll do our best to update it.


7. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been shipped, The Collective is not responsible for lost, delayed, or stolen packages.

If tracking shows your package as delivered but you haven’t received it:

  1. Check with neighbors, your local postal service, or delivery office.

  2. If still unresolved, contact us at support@the-collective.shop within 14 days of the estimated delivery date.

We’ll assist you in working with the carrier or Printify to find a solution, which may include a replacement if confirmed lost or damaged.


8. Returns, Replacements & Right of Withdrawal

Because our products are made-to-order, we generally cannot accept returns for reasons such as change of mind, wrong size, or incorrect order details.

However, under EU and Danish consumer law, customers within the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of delivery, unless an exception applies.
Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are custom-made or clearly personalized, which includes all products sold by The Collective.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at support@the-collective.shop with:

  • Your order number

  • A short description of the issue

  • Clear photos showing the problem

We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate, in accordance with our Refund Policy.


9. Legal Basis & Consumer Rights

This policy complies with:

  • EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights

  • Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven)

  • UK Consumer Rights Act 2015

  • US eCommerce standards (FTC guidelines)

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
